This place is very underrated. The Indian food was excellent. The flavours weren’t super rich but very flavourful, very good balance. Recommend for an easy takeaway or a nice place to eat in with fantastic service.

I am happy that I decided to walk back up the road from my accommodation to investigate the Essence of Indya. The outcome, friendly service, and tasty food which was good volume, flavour, and value. Hope to visit again before leaving to eat a little less and leave space for dessert. Update: Did return for a second meal and Indian dessert which was a special flavour 😋

Honestly the best butter chicken I have ever had. The mango chutney was also delicious 😋 Service was great and very reasonably priced. If I'm ever back in Ipswich I would 100% go back 💖😍
