Essence of Indya

Absolutely ridiculous that food can taste this good. I am beyond happy with the recommendation from the young woman who served me. This is as close to a perfect Indian meal as I have had in a while, and anyone who follows my reviews knows I am always chasing the perfect Indian meal. Thank you thank you thank you. You have met ALL the needs tonight.

I had takeaway. Walking distance from my hotel. Food was really tasty, too.much for 1 person. So I will have leftovers, which is good. I will have to try more heat next time and plain rice. The garlic and cheese naan is really good. Was not disappointed at all. Great atmosphere, bit of a hidden gem, unless it was because I had it mid week. To the owners or man who took my order, and the chef namaste 🙏

I visited Essence of Indya and was absolutely blown away! The food—OMG—was incredible. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was flawless, and what really stood out was the manager personally checking in to ask how everything was—such a warm and thoughtful gesture. The place itself was also aesthetically pleasing—beautiful decor, cozy ambiance, and a vibe that made the whole dining experience even better. I truly loved everything about my visit. Highly recommend!

My grandson (14 yo) were up from Adelaide to Ipswich and had our tea here Sunday night (27 July 2025). Food was absolutely beautiful, tender, full of flavour and extremely well priced. Drinks also very well priced and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Thanks for having us.

Just fantastic, and more variety than a typical Indian restaurant. I cannot express how good a grilled Salmon curry wrapped up in a garlic cheesy naan is. Must be in my top 5 meals of all time.
