I am happy that I decided to walk back up the road from my accommodation to investigate the Essence of Indya. The outcome, friendly service, and tasty food which was good volume, flavour, and value. Hope to visit again before leaving to eat a little less and leave space for dessert. Update: Did return for a second meal and Indian dessert which was a special flavour 😋

This place is very underrated. The Indian food was excellent. The flavours weren’t super rich but very flavourful, very good balance. Recommend for an easy takeaway or a nice place to eat in with fantastic service.

The best indian I've ever had! Haven't tried everything on the menu yet but if you're ever after a classic butter chicken with heaps of flavour and melt in your mouth chicken 🤩 then I highly recommend. Excited to try more dishes from their extensive menu!

Absolutely delicious food. The staff are lovely, and had great suggestions for our meal. The serving sizes are quite big, we took home a bunch of leftovers. Caution: when they say the vindaloo is hot: they mean it!
